The Interior: The Super Space-Saving Pegboard Wall

Now here’s an ingenious idea if you’re a little short on space. Rather than dedicating your feature wall to statement wallpaper, try peg board instead…

The material normally reserved for use by handymen the world over (and they really seem to love it), has been given a lick of white paint and used to hold some rather decorative stationery in this London studio for Emu Films.

I have to say I love the flexibility of this. Posessions become wall art whilst freeing up valuable desk and floor space. Winning!

This idea is the work of Studio Swine who helped to transform this tiny 10sqm spot into an office for 2-4 people. Other additions include gorgeous oak shelves, wall pouches from linoleum tiles and and awesome floating desk made from reclaimed parquet flooring.

Amongst many other things, I'm a 30-something contemplative Londoner making the daily commute between contentment and ambition. When not blogging, I'm using my talents for good as communications director at Gingerland and co-founder of Love Harlem.
