Here’s a peak at H&Ms spring collection for the home. I’m liking the look of pretty much all of this but especially the floral print bedlinen and, black and white striped cushion.

How completely gorgeous and amazingly organized is David Kaihoi’s teeny tiny apartment. You know he lives there with his wife and 3 year old child! Amazing

The New York based designer opened his home to House Beauitful and told them:

The way to stay happy when you’re living on top of one another is by ruthlessly editing — one thing in, one thing out. A place for everything, and everything in its place. It’s a difficult and daily battle, but we deal with it.

You should check out the interview the way he managed to re-organise the space and uncover room for extra storage is really pretty cool.

The Interior: Rooms x Commune Design

I am so ready to sleep right now I’m yawning like a lion on a wildlife programme. Every time I blink there’s a chance my eyes won’t open again till morning yet my day would feel incomplete if I didn’t share these adorable feature-filled rooms with you.

The things that are really catching my eye here are the green painted doors and window frames (love the shade), dream-inspiring balcony from the bedroom, classic dining room chairs, cleverly designed bookshelves, white armchair and all those bright windows.

Commune Design is the company housing the team of interior designers who made this home in Venice, California such a lovely space to enjoy…

Ok my work here is done I can finally rest and enjoy dreams… of big airy rooms… with gorgeous… green… doorzzzzzzz

I did enjoy watching Mr and Mrs Smith when it first came out but even more so I loved their hotel room in Bogota. The colours, the furniture, the balcony, the rustic walls and heavy wood doors. Gorgeous.

I think scenes like this really influenced my taste in interiors growing up. Luxurious soft furnishings, chandeliers, mirrored finishes and vintage accessories were more than enough to inspire my day dreams as a little girl.

The Interior: Distressed Walls in London

Admittedly, I don’t think I could live with this look in the long term but I do love the styling. There’s something romantic and nostalgic about it.

Also thought I’d capture this detail from the second bedroom, not just because I like the 1920s styling but because I was pleasantly surprised to see they’ve used the exact same Laura Ashley wallpaper I have in my bedroom.

I complimented the walls with various white pieces of furniture (I’m obsessed with that light and airy feel) but I think the dark wood works pretty well too.
