I caught this video on Facebook and wept. It took my breath away. I am not a black woman, I am an Irish woman. But one of my dearest friends is a black woman and she IS the woman Joshua is speaking of in every way. Her sons are blessed to have her as their mother, her daughter-in-law is blessed to have her as her mom, and her grandchildren call her a blessing and know what I know…she is all that is good and kind and strong and beautiful. Her name is Barbara Green, she lives near Boston, and she is one of the most courageous women I have ever known.

I really enjoyed it, but unlike Matrix I don’t think it was deep or philosophical, just because it was about an abstract thing (dreams). It was complex, and Christopher Nolan is an extremely skillful film-maker who understands the form and how to make it work for him. I want it to be the new Matrix, I’m definitely missing something !

Good Morning!

Yaya’s hair length is my goal for Dawn Yerger’s 30 Day Protective Style Challenge on NappyMuse.

I am drinking more than half my weight in oz. a day,vitamin d and a multivitamin.

I am keeping my hair in a protective style, with daily shower rinse while in plated style, conditioner spray on, and oil mix to lock in the moisture obtained from the rinse.

(side note: To drain excess water with no-heat method via savvy brown) large micro-fiber towel, this is a 2 min wrap.

I am exercising every morning for 30 or more min.

When I achieve this I will need to take a picture that is a sleek as this. I would put this pic on my wall. Amazing!

I completely agree. The wig is not flattering at all. Halle is always pretty, but she really stands out and looks gorgeous with her pixie cut. Anything else is just mediocre in comparison.
