I really need a new camera. My iPhone 4 has done a lot for me I can’t lie but there’s only so much you can do with instagram and picframe (though I do <3 them both)…

This camera really reminded me of one my mum used to have decades ago. That leather finish and silver buttons makes it look more manual than digital and many have noted its leica-esque appearance.

UK prices have yet to be announced but US estimates are around $1,650. *whistles*

I’ve not been swept up in the BBD storm at all. That was until my debut trip to Westfield Stratford and the enormous John Lewis it houses. I tried on a pair they had for nosey customers to sample and since then I have looked at my original iPod headphones with a disappointed and judging eye.

My headphone game wasn’t always this bad, not epic but not so absent of surround sound comfort and bass. Maybe that’s why I overcompensate once I get behind the wheel. Who’s that noisy car practically throbbing pass you with loud pulsating bass… probably me.

That said I could be persuaded to stop should a pair of Beats By Dre headphones make their way under my Christmas tree *flutters lashes* Anybody? Nobody? Well anyway speaking of Beats by Dre, check out these babies below!

Illest Beats Pro is the result of a collaboration set to mark the 3rd anniversary of US clothing brand Illest and will be unveiled to the public in Las Vegas. *flops* Las Vegas! That’s miles away… but if anyone’s heading that way and feeling generous…. Ok I’ll stop now.

Oooh isn’t this pretty. This limited edition gadget is encased by skilful hands in Amboyna Burl, a rare wood taken from the Padauk trees of Southeast Asia. So rare in fact, the camera costs €9,999 *whistles and backs away slowly*

Oh and did I mention that the price doesn’t include the lens but it does recognise the 60 hours it took to make each of the 10 cameras that are now available.

October 20, 2010 is the day to put in your diary as Apple will be holding their “Back to the Mac” event. Look at that Lion…

Apparently, after a period of time spent updating the iPod, iPad and iPhone, Steve Jobs ill turn our attention “back to the mac”. Rumours suggest announcements will include:

New OSX – From the look of things OSX Lion may be the obvious follow up to OSX Tiger and OSX Snow Leopard.
New Macbook Air – Thinner? Faster? Who knows?

So I’m pretty much tapping my foot in anticipation for October 20. I do love a good Apple event and all the oooohs and aaaahs that go with it.

Ooooooooh I am sooo excited yet given it’s still speculation, bracing myself from the crushing disappointment that I’ll feel should this tremendous event not unfold….

For all you apple-addicts the Apple tablet, nicknamed iSlate, may be unveiled January 27 with a rumoured shipping date of March.

Apparently it will feature a 10/11-inch screen and Wall Street Journal says it might be priced at $1000

I can hardly contain my excitement!!!

Oh these are so cute. Some very talented person has taken vintage portable turntables and transformed them into these über-stylish clocks.

The clocks cost $96 and can be purchased from Pixelthis, an Etsy shop dedicated to “stuff made from stuff”. Unfortunately for me they only ship to the US. Sniffle Sniffle.

The Gadget: Apple’s 5th Generation iPod Nano

Now this is exciting news! Apple have unleashed their latest iPod Nano with the rather exciting addition of a video camera. Could this rival the Flip Video I’ve had my eye on these past few months…

Key new features include an FM radio, voice memo recorder and a pedometer. Prices start at £115 for the 8GB. I do ask if the radio should have been digital rather than FM but other than that it looks pretty cool to me.

The Experience: I Got My Blackberry Bold!

So after to-ing and fro-ing for well over a year I have finally used my T-mobile upgrade to get the Blackberry Bold. Phew!

And here are my five thoughts on it:

1: I’ve added all my RSS feeds from Blogger to the Viigo RSS reader application (I installed) on my Blackberry Yay! Took me a little while to figure it out but it was actually quite straight forward in the end. So far so good too. I am always connected to all you wonderful bloggers I follow hurrah!

2: Also added ~~Twitterberry with Twitpic for posting images~~ UberTwitter (thanks to Fashionista at Play) and will hopefully be able to start posting images. So if you’re following me on Twitter there’s bound to be way more visual highlights of things I come across and love in my daily life.

3: This thing seems to be a bit of a media monster. The sound and video quality is definitely as bold as the reviews said. I haven’t quite tested it to destruction or anything but as a first impression it’s pretty cool.

4: PIN!!! For the uninitiated it’s basically free text messaging between BB users… worldwide!

5: Calendar. I can finally keep up to date with all my appointments which I’m forever losing track of. So here’s to a more punctual me.

The Design: Digital Car ‘Skins’

Let me introduce the MOY. A concept car featuring a shell embedded with LEDs and LCDs that you can download your designs to. That’s right… you can digitally skin your car.

Croation design student Elvis Tomljenovic is the innovative brain behind this car concept and won an award for his efforts in the auto(r) automotive design conference in Europe.

His design allows for the car to display both static or animated patterns on it’s surface and the car itself is powered by electric motors housed in the wheels.

It’s also controlled by drive-by-wire technology which I think is something similar to what the cars used in Minority Report but I might be wrong. Eitherway it’s a pretty cool idea.

The Style: Faceless Watch

This LED watch by Hironao Tsuboi looks like a man’s metal watch strap until you press a button and reveal the time lit up between the chain links.

Currently there are no details on price but the watch will eventually be available to customers in Japan via online store 100%.

The Gadget: Nokia E97 ‘Envelop’ Phone

So the idea is the keyboard has a pocket which holds an additional screen… yes indeed this phone would have not one but two screens.

The additional screen goes beyond slimply sliding out but can completely detach, allowing you to pass your photos/music/video clips around to your friends whilst you can still happily text away on the remaining screen… interesting.
