Weddings! Receptions around the world have all been captivated by the words “It’s like Candy”, summoning young and old to the floor for THE dance. You know it. The left, right, back, forward, back, kick, turn and shuffle with a few varying translations.
So imagine my surprise that a new rival has come on to the seen. ‘Candy’ meet ‘Wobble’! Now fight!
I have to say if there was a real battle Candy definitely beats the Wobble for better name and when it comes to wedding appropriate lyrical content…

Yep while Candy’s telling you your the most beautiful girl in the world, the wobble’s telling you to hitch up your skirt and get your freak on. No contest really but the dance itself… now there’s a contender. Wobble to the front, wobble to the back, to the left and to the right, step step, step step, stepity stepity, stepity, stepity and repeat or something like that. And apparently people have been doing this since 2010? Facsinating.
