After spotting Kate’s dress at the Royal wedding today my sister commented that she’d seen a Vogue pattern of the dress. I wasn’t entirely convinced but after a quick Google search found the pattern and I can definitely see the Grace Kelly in it.
Depending on your sewing skills though this could be a perfect pattern to work your customising skills on.

I made this dress but with short sleeves for a ball I went to in Austria – and yes the reason I got the pattern is because I said I wanted a more regal look (like Grace Kelly) – rather than the norm ‘off the shoulder’ ball gown – Pleased to see that other people feel the same. Tip get the pattern off the sewing patterns.com website – they often have good deals on patterns
