Whilst doing some casual browsing about Theophilus’ new video for Flying Overseas I came across these great images from his shoot in the March 2010 edition of Complex magazine. Just look at all that colour.
Theophilus: I want my voice to add color.
Complex: And what color would that be?
Theophilus: Whatever color I choose to paint the song. I look at it like a painter. Before he paints, he thinks about what colors he’s going to use. I’m going to use red—I’m going to alert someone… I’m going to use yellow. With “Cold Pillow” I used blue, you know, cold blue. That’s just how I see it.
Loving the styling for this shoot by the very amazing Brit abroad, Anoma Ya Whitaker. Especially the blue Hugo Boss suit. Nice.
