The Style: Keri, Garcelle & Eva at 41st Annual NAACP Image Awards

So I was over at Concrete Loop browsing through the red carpet looks from the 41st annual NAACP Image Awards and thought I’d share my three favourite looks.

First of all, I. Love. This. Dress. I just had to blog it. It’s too stunning for words and Keri Hilson looks gorgeous in it. I swear if I was her I wouldn’t want to take it off.

I have to say I think it’s more Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon’s sassy attitude rather than the dress that drew me to this picture but I still think it’s cute. I truly love the purse though.

Eva Marcille seems to be channeling Grace Kelly in this gown. It is beautiful but in other images I’ve seen of her wearing it I couldn’t help imagine it looking even more gorgeous in a slightly more contrasting colour.

Keri looked amazing. Classic and beautiful and I love her hair like that. It looks less 'wiggy' than the short still. I love the colours of Garcille's attire but it looked wriggled. Maybe a dif material for the dress? Andi loved Eva's dress but it would have worked best in another colour on her because i found that the dress and her face/ makeup matched too closely!

I have to say that none of these looks is quite working for me. The Keri Hilson gown is nice but it seems like it is sliding off of her cleavage and are those really leather shoes? Garcelle's attitude is intense but I can't reconcile the femininity and color of the dress with the geometry of the champagne shoes. Eva Marcille's look is the winner of the trio for me; I share your feeling that a slightly more contrasting color would have been even more beautiful.

I LOVE Keri's dress and Eva's man. LOL. Nice post!

All of the ladies look lovely. Eva's dress is too close to her skin colour so that's why there is no contrast.
I can't wait to see her fiance's new movie that comes out in March, titled "Our Family Wedding with America Ferrera. He and Eva seem to make such a cute couple.
