The Interior: Pretty Postcard Displays

Growing up my mum kept a wall in our kitchen full of postcards she had written or were sent to her from various friends.

It was not only a vivid and colourful display of exotic locations and international landmarks that would carry an already imaginative young Harlem into daydreams but they offered warming reminders of the numerous people who cared enough to share their experience in that moment. The micro-blogging of the day I suppose.Anyway I love the way the postcards and messages in the image above are framed and displayed. Might have a trifle through my own treasure box of letters and see if I have anything worth framing…PS: Apologies for the late posting this week. It was my sister’s birthday yesterday and we enjoyed a lovely day out with her taking full advantage of the gorgeous sights and flavours London has to offer.
